Administration of the STAR program. Test results are used

Academic Performance Index (API)
Measures the academic performance and growth of schools
on a variety of academic measures.
Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP)
Requires each state to ensure that all schools and districts
make Adequate Yearly Progress based on assessments included
in the statewide accountability system.
Data and Statistics
Reports for accountability (e.g. API, AYP), test data, enrollment, graduates, dropouts, course enrollments, staffing, and data regarding English learners.
State, county, district, and school level reports covering topics such as students, staffing, finances, and performance rankings.
Catalog of the Department's data resources that documents, names, and defines all of the data that are available throughout the Department.
California Longitudinal Pupil
Achievement Data System (CALPADS)
A system that allows for tracking a student's academic performance
over time to comply with federal reporting requirements
and help evaluate educational progress and investments.
California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE)
Beginning with the Class of 2006, all public school students will be required to pass the exam to earn a high school diploma.
