An Indio man was arrested on suspicion of driving recklessly in a JC Penny parking lot while high on drugs, officials said. Dispatch received reports at 9:12 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, that the suspect crashed into a large palm tree in front of the store at 72900 Highway 111 in Palm Desert, Riverside County Sheriff's officials said in a news release....

The man "used force" on the senior citizen as the person was getting into a vehicle at about 9:40 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, near Dinah Shore Drive and Monterey Avenue, Riverside County Sheriff's officials wrote in a news release.
