    Earlier this fall, a group of young girls spent nearly two months making more than three dozen cheery pillows for children at a local shelter. After adopting 40 elderly residents from a giving tree last Christmas, they're providing needed toiletries to the Haven of Peace shelter and today, they're caroling at a seniors' home, where they'll hand out homemade gifts and cards....
