    Bruce D. Adams passed away on September 10, 2014, in Manteca, CA; he was born in Sebastopol, CA, raised, and lived in French Camp, CA. Bruce was preceded in death by his wife, Alice M. Adams, He is survived by his four children: Janet L. Willis , Cedar City, UT; Bruce D. Adams Jr., Stockton, CA; Susan G. Luczu , East Brunswick, NJ; and Wendy J. Gorman , Sacramento, CA; his seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter....

    Schools have until Friday to register for a statewide “mock election,” and receive printed ballots, posters, stickers and other election materials from the California Secretary of State's Office. Schools that miss the deadline can still participate, but they will have to download materials from the state elections office's website....
