    Shasta College's women's basketball team trailed by one after an Ashley Rothmann 3-pointer but went scoreless in the final 3 minutes, 9 seconds as Butte stole a 62-56 road victory Saturday night for its third straight Golden Valley Conference win. Rothmann's trey was only the third successful 3-pointer of the game for the Knights and they continued to struggle from beyond the arc the rest of the way....

Marissa Starman had 15 points, Tasha Pimentel had 10 points, Laura Keane had four, and Daphnie Nandino had 2 points Lassen led 21-16 after the first quarter, then the teams combined to score just nine points in the second frame....

    Lassen freshman forward Mikailia Bustamonte put together a monster night against College of the Redwoods on Thursday, scoring 38 points to go with 29 rebounds and the CR women's basketball team fell to the first-place Cougars 77-70 in a Golden Valley Conference matchup in Susanville. The CR men's game, which was delayed due to multiple fire alarms, ended in a 92-52 win for the Cougars....
