Around this time of year, the garden seems to pop with life. The buds of the many-colored flowers are beginning to open, creating a wonderful array of beauty throughout the garden. The raspberries are beginning to bud and in several weeks there will hopefully be raspberries. The baby lettuce is just getting to the right size to be used for in our school salad bar. Inside the pond by the front gate, tadpoles are maturing. The rosemary bushes are releasing their wonderful scent, which lingers in the warm air of spring. The fruit trees are starting to blossom and you can see the beginnings of little fruit. All in all, the garden is thriving with life.
