In Fall 2002, the District’s technology inventory was updated and provided an up-to-date list of computers and other technology equipment.
In Spring 2004 through to the present, all the schools completed the State Technology Survey. These surveys plus information from site teachers provided us with the basis for a general needs assessment for the use of technology in the Geyserville Unified School District.
In Winter 2006 and 2007, the Geyserville Educational Park teachers were assessed using the EdTechProfile online self-assessment that provided baseline data on teacher’s technology skills. In Fall 2008 both Ed Park and Elementary teachers were assessed.
These assessments and the input during the monthly District Technology meetings will help guide the implementaton of this technology plan. The technology plan will guide the district’s use of technology from June 2009 through July 2012.
