Randy Peterson The Palo Verde High School Yellow Jacket football team got to experience firsthand the juggernaut that is Imperial as the Tigers rolled to a 63-26 victory over Palo Verde in the Imperial Valley League finale this past Friday night in Imperial. The victory gave the Tigers a perfect slate in league play at 5-0 and evened their season mark to 5-5....

Randy Peterson When the Palo Verde High School Yellow Jacket football team travels to Imperial for their Imperial Valley League finale tonight, they will face the league champions in the Tigers. The Tigers are unbeaten in IVL play and even if the Jackets pull off the upset, the Tigers dispatched Brawley 22-14 two weeks ago to take the tiebreaker if those two teams both finish with 4-1 records....

Randy Peterson The Palo Verde High School Yellow Jacket football team will attempt to win their third straight football game and their second in a row to start Imperial Valley League play tonight when they take on the Central Spartans at Scott Stadium. The Jackets opened league play last week in Calexico and defeated the Bulldogs 28-8 while the Spartans were on the short end of a 38-13 loss when they hosted Imperial on the same night....

With the Governor's signing deadline ending yesterday, and in the midst of the baseball playoffs, local Assemblymember Eduardo Garcia went 16 for 16 this legislative season and had all of his bills and resolutions signed by Governor Brown.
