    The Moreau Catholic High School boys basketball team found itself trailing 28-27 at halftime to host James Logan on Friday and needing to find out how it would answer the upset threat by the Colts. Moreau Catholic responded with one of its best quarters of the season on its way to a 68-52 Mission Valley Athletic League win, in large part due to outscoring James Logan 23-5 in the third quarter....

A clearly pleased Mike Kimball, of Newark, came away from his chat with the 6-foot-7 linebacker they called the Mad Stork with two autographed footballs -- one for him and one for his brother, both lifelong fans....
