    An East County woman whose toddler son died two weeks ago from injuries allegedly inflicted by her live-in boyfriend was jailed Tuesday on suspicion of child endangerment.     SAN DIEGO, CA = A man wanted on a felony warrant was arrested after leading law enforcement officers on a pursuit from San Diego to Alpine, authorities said Thursday. California Highway Patrol officers and U.S. Marshals tailed a driver of a white Ford Taurus, identified in news reports as Andrew Aud, as he sped along northbound Interstate 805 in the University City area, headed south on Interstate 5 in Carmel Valley, then got back onto the 805 Wednesday night, according to the CHP....

    Classes were canceled Monday at four school districts in San Diego's East County due to the El Nino-fueled storm but the San Diego County of Education's sixth-grade camp went on as scheduled. Instructors at the Cuyamaca Outdoor School woke up to find about a half inch of snow at the camp located on State Route 79 north of Interstate 8.     Alpine animal rescue sanctuary Lions, Tigers & Bears is sadly reporting Himmel, the tiger cub found roaming the streets of Hemet and rescued in September, has died. Lions, Tigers & Bears' Facebook page says Himmel was undergoing a routine veterinary procedure to be neutered and also to repair his hernia....
