Geyserville High School

Graduating from Chico State University with a BA in Physical Education and obtaining his teaching credential from Sonoma State in 1991 his career here at Geyserville Educational Park began in the fall of 1991. Mr.Long has taught a variety of courses including Physical Education, Drivers Education, Health 9, California History and Academic Success. He has been certified as an instuctor in CIF coaching education and coaching principles for the North Coast Section. He is currently serving his second term as the Athletic Director at both schools. He has served 16 years in this postition. He coached the boys varsity basketball teams from 1993-2002. He just completed his seventh year at SRJC as an assistant basketball coach for the mens program. Brian has been married for seventeen years to the former Kristy Kielhofer. They have three children, Belden is 15 1/2 years old sophomore at Ursuline High School. Kiel is a 13 years old and in eighth grade and their youngest is Bryden, who is 11 and in the fifth grade. His hobbies include spending quality time with his family. Coaching youth sports which include CYO basketball at St. Eugenes, Santa Rosa American Little League, CYSA Santa Rosa Central Soccer, AAU basketball (Santa Rosa Zone). He also spends time being a fan of all bay area sports teams....the Giants, 49ers and Warriors. Family outings include trips to Tahoe, San Diego, and shorts trips all over Nor-Cal.
