Welcome back to another great year of learning at Bates! Your PTA has many exciting ideas for this school year, and we invite you to join in.
- School starts on Wednesday, August 20. School begins at 8:30 and ends at 1:35 (Wednesdays are short days; school is released at 3:00 pm on all other days).
- PTA will have Spirit Wear available for purchase on the first day of school. We have Bates T-shirts for $8, crew sweatshirts for $12, and hooded sweatshirts for $15. Our supplies are limited, so buy early!
- Our first PTA/ELAC meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 5, at 5:30 pm. From 5:30-6:00pm, we will discuss PTA business and plans for PTA and ELAC to work together throughout the year. From 6:00-7:00pm, school staff will present "Your Child's State Test Scores---What They Mean and How You Can Help Your Student At Home". Please mark your calendar and plan to attend,.
We would love to see you on our "Wednesday Work Days", every Wednesday from 8:30-10:00am --we do jobs to support our teachers and no experience is necessary!
