Bates Elementary School

Hi! My name is Beth Carli. I am the 5th grade teacher at Bates Elementary. This is my 5th year teaching 5th grade. I have a total of 10 years teaching experience, grades 1-5. In my spare time, very spare that it is, I enjoy cooking and running. I also enjoy spending time with my family. I have two children, Mary and Zachary, and a wonderful husband, Richard. Currently our class is quite large, but don't you worry. We will accomplish many things. In social studies we are learning about and following the presidential election. So far, the students have learned about the three branches of government and the presidential canidates. In science we are studying about Nature's Fury. We are learning about earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, etc.
