About the Teacher
Welcome
to 4th Grade with Ms. Cage! I have been teaching at Bates School for a
long time - 23 years - Whew!
I love teaching about California's
history, especially the Gold Rush. In fact, I take my class on an
overnight trip to Coloma, where the Gold Rush started.(Parents are
invited too.) On this trip, students learn about California's Gold Rush
and life in the 1850's. Students will learn how to pan for gold and
design their own leather projects. We will conduct our fundraising
Math-a-thon in February.
