Share a candy Bar by Monique Lonergan
“Charlie, I’m going to eat all these candy bars,” said Martha.
“But, I want one,” said Charlie.
“Well, I’m sorry Charlie, but these are mine,” said Martha.
“Please could I have one Martha?” said Charlie.
“All right, let’s share!” said Martha.
“Let’s be fair and share,” said Charlie.
“Yeah!” said Martha.

Antonia and the Lesson to the Teacher by Karina Garcia
Once upon a time there was a girl named Antonia Gonzales. Antonia lived in a little town with her parents. One day Antonia went to school. It was time for PE. They were going to play basketball. Antonia had an unfair teacher. That day her teacher made teams on 5 kids, but in her class there were 21 kids. Her teacher made 4 groups, but there was still one person. Antonia was that person. Antonia thought in her head, “Why am I not on a team.”
Antonia was going to ask her teacher what she was going to do, but then her teacher said that she could pass the ball to all the teams.
Antonia said to her teacher, “But I can play, too. Why can’t we have teams of 7 kids?”
“Okay, good idea. Thanks for teaching me to be fair,” said her teacher.
“It’s nothing, Miss,” Antonia said.
Then her teacher was never unfair again and they all lived happily ever after.
