An informational meeting was held on November 20, 2008 at RVHS regarding the loss of Aeries school student data memory "thumb drive." A second meeting has been set for December 3, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the Performing Arts building.

Construction has begun on campus on Building F. Perimeter fencing has been put up to ensure students can travel safely to and from classes. Although construction can be chaotic, maintenance and facilities and RVHS are working diligently to ensure the learning environment on campus remains stable and conducive.
The administration and faculty at Rio Vista High School are eager to begin the year and are looking forward to the ongoing improvement of student achievement, campus climate and campus beautification. This spring WASC, the accrediating commission, will be returning to review our progress on their recommendations that were received last spring. We believe we have already made significant progress and will continue to move forward on meeting our goals to receive a 2-year accrediation. If you would like to be involved in the WASC process, please contact Amy Eggers via email or phone.
Mr. Hal Bush has recently joined our efforts in preparing for the upcoming WASC visit. Mr. Bush is a retired Deputy Superintendent from Vacaville and will be working with all stakeholders in the process. Below is a list of upcoming WASC Focus Group Meetings-many parents have already joined the process-if you are interested in becoming part of a focus group, please don't hesitate to come and join us!
